Technical Programme
For a number of years, the Megagauss Conferences (MG) were held alternately in Russia and the US. However, the growing contribution being made in Europe was recognised by Berlin being the chosen venue for the 2004 Conference, while the request for London to be the 2006 venue emphasises the importance and high profile of the work now ongoing in the UK.

The MG-XI, London, will be an ideal forum for scientists and technologists from many countries to present their latest theoretical and experimental studies in areas relevant the generation and utilisation of ultrahigh magnetic fields. The topics covered by the conferences are advancing very rapidly, and the MG Conferences aim to ensure that the very latest experimental and theoretical results are disseminated to interested parties. They also provide a forum at which many ideas for important future developments are first exposed to a critical audience.
