Please note: you cannot hold more than one company-sponsored scholarship. If you have a Diamond Jubilee Scholarship supported by Siemens or BT, you cannot hold another company-sponsored scholarship such as IET Power Academy,  E3 Academy, UKESF.  Please contact us at  if you have any questions on a scholarship you hold.


IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarships

The IET is committed to encouraging talented students to study IET accredited courses, which will put them on a path that is challenging and rewarding. The IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship programme is open to UK students who achieved 3 ‘A’s at A Level, 3 'A' grade Advanced Highers, 5 'A' grade Highers or an International Baccalaureate Diploma at 36 points or above and who have been accepted to join an IET accredited engineering or technology degree course. Successful candidates will receive at least £1,000 per year during their studies and be supported in their professional development by the IET. Some scholarships are sponsored by companies such as BT nd Siemens, allowing opportunities for mentoring, internships and work placements.

IET Power Academy

A number of scholarships are awarded each year to students at participating universities, which include mentoring from industry partners, paid summer placements, an annual bursary and the opportunity of a career with the sponsoring company after graduation.

E3 Academy

The E3 Academy offers sponsorship to students studying an Electrical Energy Engineering degree programme at the University of Nottingham, the University of Newcastle or the University of Bristol. The scholarship includes a bursary for each year of study and paid summer work placements with one of the partner companies.


UK Electronics Skills Foundation

The UK Electronic Skills Foundation offers scholarships to students studying degrees in electronic engineering at selected UK Universities. Scholarships are open to students in any year of their degree, except the final year. The scholarship includes a bursary for each year of study and paid summer work placements with one of the partner companies
