Abstract submission: author information
Where will your paper be published?
In addition to being able to present your research as either an oral paper or poster, as a successful author, the IET guarantees that your paper will be published and made available to the world’s leading research scientists and engineers via key publications / databases. Please see
"why submit a paper?" for more details.
The submission process
Authors wishing to submit papers and present at The Asset Management Conference 2012 are required to submit an abstract for consideration by the Conference’s Technical Programme Committee.
Following the review of abstracts, successful authors will be invited to submit a full paper for a second review by the committee.
Successful authors of full papers will then be invited to attend and present their work, either by oral or poster presentation at The Asset Management Conference 2012.
Accepted papers
Each paper must have at least one author registered by Friday 24 August 2012, to avoid the paper being withdrawn from the conference proceedings. Authors presenting two or more papers must pay the additional paper fee. The author must be present at the conference to present the submission either orally or by poster presentation. The author rate is reduced against standard attendance fees.
You are reminded that the IET or other associated societies cannot meet any travelling or subsistence expenses for authors, either prior to or during the conference.
Writing an abstract
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday 22 June 2012 if they are to be considered for the conference. Use of the Asset Management Conference 2012 Abstract Template is mandatory, and only abstracts following the instructions provided below will be considered.
The abstract template can be downloaded via the link to the left.
