Dr C G Koh is a professor of civil engineering and the Director of Centre for Hazards Research at the National University of Singapore. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in 1983 and 1986, respectively, at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interest has primarily been in structural dynamics, with applications on vibration isolation, experimental dynamics, system identification and nonlinear dynamic analysis. He was a recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship awarded by the Commission of the European Communities as well as the IES Prestigious Publication Award. He has been invited to deliver eight keynotes and many invited presentations internationally in countries such as UK, Japan, China, India and Greece. Professor Koh is an Associate Editor for international journal on "Structural Health Monitoring" and Editorial Board Member for international journal on “Smart Structures and Systems”. He has also been active in the professional circle and well sought after as an advisor in many industrial and infrastructure projects. |

Geoff Cronshaw
Geoff’s core activity is to support the relevant National Committee/s (e.g. JPEL/64), and subsidiary Panels, in standards-making work and to derive industry-supported guidance for publication by the IET. Geoff is Secretary of the National Wiring Regulations Committee (JPEL/64). As Chief Engineer, Geoff is responsible for maintaining the publications on the Wiring Regulations. He is also convenor of IEC Maintenance Team 2 and CENELEC Working Group 205.
Prior to joining the IET Geoff spent over twenty years in electrical consultancy where he was responsible for designing a wide range of electrical installations in both the public and private sector.
Geoff was trained in the electrical contracting industry, and has held several positions from site level to Assistant Contracts Engineer. |

Boey Lai Yin received her M.Sc degrees from National University of Singapore (NUS). She is currently a Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic, School of Engineering. She is the subject leader of Space Planning, Visualization and Simulation, and Building Drawing. She was a consultant engineer, her previous projects include residential, commercial offices cum warehouses, hotels and overseas hotel resort. She has completed several space planning projects which include CAD modeling, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and visualization. |

Eddie Lee is Managing Director of Renewpowers Technologies Pte Ltd which his firm provides design, supply, engineering, installation and commissioning of solar electric, solar thermal (hot water), wind turbines and fuel cells systems. He has over 6 years of experience in the photovoltaics industry and distributes various well known brands such as Xantrex, Kyocera, Solarworld, Schott Solar, Chromagen, PowerOne, Steca and etc. The company has completed largest PV system at Marina Barrage. |

Dr. Chua Kian Jon received his PhD. and M.Eng degrees from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2001 and 1997, respectively. He is currently a Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic, School of Engineering. He was a Teaching/Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2000 to 2006. He was assistant editor of “ASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development” from 1999 to 2002. He is listed in several “Who's Who” compilations. He is also named “Distinguished Scientists of the 21st Century” by International Biographical Institute, Cambridge (2006). His research interests include bio-thermal engineering, bioproduct dehydration, micro/nano-biotechnology and renewable/clean energy technologies. He is a regular reviewer of international journal papers for the following journals: International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, USA, Drying Technology, USA, Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research, UK, Journal of Energy Resources Technology, UK, Biotechnology Progress, USA, Chemical Engineering Communications, USA, and Biosystems Engineering, USA. He has published more than 60 technical papers in international journals and conferences, authored/co-authored 6 book chapters and owns 2 patents related to bioproduct drying technologies. |

Ben Papé
Ben is currently a Business Adviser to CBBC/UKTI (DTI supported bodies) on China/HongKong trade. He originated Integer HK Pavilion project which demonstrated "tomorrow’s housing today" in world-leading best practice exhibition, with ongoing research/education projects, on waterfront site in HongKong – this pavilion has now moved to Beijing. He is developing similar projects in Beijing for 2004 leading to Olympics 2008 and in Shanghai for 2004 leading to Special Olympics 2007. Ben is also leading current UK efforts to win industrialised housing and transportation projects in China.

Alan Kell is a leading practitioner in action-research and innovation management in relation to technology, buildings and the built environment.
In 1996 he co-founded the INTEGER building innovation programme, initially operating in the UK and subsequently in Hong Kong and China. He is now Managing Director of INTEGER Intelligent & Green Limited and a Director of INTEGER China Limited.
From 1995 to 2001 he was the Executive Director of the European Intelligent Building Group (EIBG), an international business network committed to delivering the wide-ranging benefits of intelligent buildings.

Dr Anthony C M Sung
BSc(Hons),MSc,PhD,CEng,EurIng,FCIBSE,MIEE,MInstE,SenMIEEE,MHKIE Dr Tony Sung is the Chairman of the CIBSE Electrical Services Group, he is a Fellow of the CIBSE and the past Chairman of the IET BETNET Exec Team.
Tony currently works for the University of Manchester as the Lecturer in Electrical Services Engineering. In addition to his teaching and research activities at the university, he is employed by the I.E.E. in the capacity of an I.E.E. consultant and is responsible for the training of professional engineers in the U.K. on EAW(1989) Regulations and BS7671:2001 (16th edition IEE Wiring Regulations). All I.E.E. courses and CIBSE technical seminars given by him are eligible for CPD points in UK's continued professional development programmes for engineers. His previous industrial experience includes the design and installation of Power generation/transmission systems up to 66kV, multi-disciplinary industrial and commercial building services installations. |

Associate Professor Stephen Klaus Wittkopf
Associate Professor Stephen Klaus Wittkopf graduated from the University of Technology Aachen Faculty of Architecture, Germany in 1994. After completing his Master of Advanced Studies in Computer Aided Architectural Design at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in 1997, he obtained his Doctoral Degree from University of Technology Darmstadt, Germany in 2001. Since then he joined National University of Singapore to teach and research at the Department of Architecture. Dr Wittkopf’s interest is in Sustainable Architecture with focus on Solar Energy promoting advanced daylighting and building integrated photovoltaic. |
