Brighton is situated on the England’s south coast, just 50 miles south of London.

The Old Ship Hotel is centrally position on Brighton's seafront making it easily accessible.

Car parking:

Hotel - For all guests arriving by car, the hotel has limited car parking spaces.
£15.00 per 24 hours.

Brighton and Hove City Council - Operate The Lanes car park opposite the hotel’s own car park in Black Lion Street.
£15.00 per 24 hours.

Directions to The Lanes Car Park, Black Lion Street - follow the M/A23 southbound in to Brighton all the way to Brighton Pier, at the pier turn right on to the seafront road, at the first set of lights turn right into Black Lion Street, the hotel is located on the left-hand side and The Lanes Car Park is on the right hand side.

By Train:

The Old Ship Hotel is situated just half a mile from Brighton train station.There are trains every half hour from London Victoria with the fastest journey taking approximately 50 mins. London Kings Cross Thameslink, operate a frequent service to Brighton with the journey taking around 80 mins and from the Eurostar Terminal at London St Pancras (1hr 20min).

There is a taxi rank outside the main station entrance. There are no direct buses from the station to the Old Ship Hotel.

Travelling to Brighton by bus or coach is an ideal option if you are on a budget. All major cities throughout the country provide regularly services to and from Brighton. For further information visit the following companies:

By Air:

London Gatwick Airport is located south of London and only 28 miles from Brighton and has scheduled, domestic and international flights.

Gatwick is on the main line between Brighton and London with trains every 15 mins with the journey taking on avarage 30 mins. Taxis from Gatwick to Brighton charge approximately £40.
