Sponsoring The IET Control and Automation Conference

Sponsoring or exhibiting at this event will place your organisation in a unique position to promote your brand, your products and services and position your company in a lead role in the community.

The IET uses an extensive marketing campaign to inform our members and relevant database contacts of our events programme to ensure the highest attendance and quality of guests.

The sponsorship and exhibition packages are listed below and can be designed to meet your requirements to help you meet and influence the delegates at this conference. We can also include additional delegate places on each package if you would like to bring additional colleagues or clients to the event at a 25% discount off of the standard rate.

Exhibition

The exhibition area will provide the opportunity for vendors to demonstrate their technology applications and engage end-users in a relaxed and informal setting.

Unlike a traditional large exhibition or trade show, you will gain access to the strategic target audience during a time when the attendees are relaxed yet focused on discussing current developments in the industry. Our team of experienced event managers handle all administrative, marketing and promotional needs, leaving you free to concentrate on your own plans for the conference and to generate new business.

Sponsorship opportunities

Co-headline sponsor – £4,000 + VAT

As a Co-Headline sponsor there will be a wide range of branding opportunities available to raise your profile and brand awareness, both prior to, during the event.

Branding – your logo will feature on:

• All electronic mailings as the Co-headline sponsor
• The events website with a hyperlink through to your website and company description (80 words max) will also be included
• The opening slide of each session
• Thank you to our ‘sponsors/exhibitors’ holding slide
• Signage in the registration area – supplied by the IET
• The material given to delegates on-site

Exhibition space:

• Space will be limited to a table top exhibition for you to promote your company (to include WiFi access, a table, two chairs and power supply)

Advertising:

• Your company marketing material or promotional item to be included in the delegate bag (subject to size and weight restrictions)
• Your company logo or banner ad (to be confirmed) with a hyperlink to appear on the virtual events website

Your organisation will receive:

• Three delegate places for representatives of your company to attend the conference and exhibition (these cannot be used to cover author fees)
• Acknowledgement by the Chairman in the opening address

Gala dinner sponsor - £4,000 + VAT (Sole sponsorship)

During the dinner, your company may nominate a spokesperson to make a short dynamic presentation. This will inform the delegates of your company’s services and competitive advantages, as well as position your company as an industry leader.

Branding – your logo will feature on:

• All electronic mailings as a sponsor
• The events website with a hyperlink through to your website and company description (60 words max) will also be included
• Thank you to our ‘sponsors/exhibitors’ holding slide
• Signage in the registration area

Exhibition – you will be provided with:

• Space will be limited to a table top exhibition for you to promote your company (to include WiFi access, a table, two chairs and power supply)

You will also have the opportunity to:

• Provide a five minute presentation preceding the dinner gala
• Place a corporate gift or marketing material on the tables in the reception area

Your organisation will also receive:

• Three delegate places for representatives of your company to attend the conference and exhibition (these cannot be used to cover author fees)

Drinks reception sponsor - £4,000 + VAT (Sole sponsorship)

The drinks reception will be taking place on the evening of the first day of the conference, extending the opportunity for delegates to network. The package includes two glasses of wine with canapés per person and will last approximately an hour and a half.

As the drinks reception sponsor a wide range of branding opportunities will be made available to you both prior to and during the conference.

Branding – your logo will feature:

• On all electronic mailings as the drinks reception sponsor
• On the events website with a hyperlink through to your website and company description (60 words max) will also be included
• On the opening slide of each session
• On the thank you to our ‘sponsors/exhibitors’ holding slide
• On the signage in the registration area – supplied by the IET
• Within the programme/brochure where it mentions the drinks reception
• Signage in the registration area – supplied by the IET

Your organisation will receive:

• Two complimentary delegate places for representatives of your company to attend the conference (these cannot be used to cover author fees)
• The opportunity to display promotional material at the drinks reception
• Acknowledgement by the chairman at the close of the conference on day one
• The opportunity to provide branded merchandise such as napkins etc
• The opportunity to give a three-minute welcome speech

 Delegate bags - £2,500 + VAT (Sole sponsorship)

The delegate bag will be distributed to all delegates at the conference and will no doubt be used long after the event, creating maximum branding exposure for your organisation.

As a delegate bag sponsor, a wide range of sponsorship opportunities will be made available to you.

Branding – your logo will feature on:

• The events website with a hyperlink through to your website and company description (60 words max) will also be included
• ‘Thank you to our sponsors’ holding slide
• Delegate bag

You will also have the opportunity to:

• Place a corporate gift or piece of marketing material in the delegate bag (subject to weight and size restrictions)

Your organisation will also receive:

• Two delegate places for representatives of your company to attend the event (these cannot be used to cover author fees)

USB stick - £1,500 + VAT (Sole sponsorship)

This is an opportunity to include information about your organisation on a USB memory stick which is given to all delegates on arrival.

Branding - your logo will feature on:

• The USB memory stick (two spot colours) to be supplied by the IET
• Company information on the USB stick with a hyperlink through to your website
• Your logo to appear on the events website with a hyperlink through to your website and company description (50 words max) will also be included
• ‘Thank you to our sponsors/exhibitors’ holding slide

Lanyards - £2,500 + VAT (client to provide)

Exhibition opportunities

Exhibiting at this conference will place your organisation in a unique position to promote your brand, your products and services to those who are actively seeking solutions to current issues.

The exhibition will run alongside the conference on days two and three of the conference within the catering area.

Exhibition space - £1,500 + VAT

Included in the space fee are:

• Space will be limited to a table top exhibition for you to promote your company (to include WiFi access, a table, two chairs and power supply)
• The opportunity to have a branded item or piece of company literature inserted into the delegate bag (subject to size and weight restrictions)
• A dedicated page for all sponsors/exhibitors on this website, along with your logo and company information (50 words) and a hyperlink to your company website
• Your logo will appear on the ‘thank you to our sponsors/exhibitors’ holding slide

Extras:

• You will also receive two delegate places for representatives of your company to attend the conference/man the exhibition stand (these cannot be used to cover author fees)
