Distributed Generation Systems
IET training course
10-13 May 2010 | Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK
About the course
What is covered on the course?
The Distributed Generation training course provides engineers with an appreciation of the technical issues relating to distributed generation. Through a combination of lectures and case studies, you will study a large range of topics, providing breadth of knowledge, from the principal prime movers, to generators, their control and protection, through to connection to the distribution network in compliance with Engineering Recommendation G.59, a copy of which will be provided to delegates.
The course will briefly describe Engineering Recommendation G59/1 before covering in detail the January 2010 draft of G59/2. The proposed new provisions will be described and compared with the current version.
The course will provide an opportunity to undertake continued professional development for new and experienced engineers alike.
