TheEUROEM 2016 conference has now taken placeand attracted over 200 UK and overseas delegates. Authors presented 126 technical papers in both oral and poster sessionsand the conference programme featured a welcome note by IET President Naomi Climer and a keynote address on the Science of Invisibility by Professor Sir John Pendry.
A plenary and special sessions addressed the latest developments in High Power Electromagnetics HPEM, and their impact on other science and engineering areas such as cyber security and aircraft electromagnetic certification.
The conference gala dinner and international industry exhibition offered excellent networking opportunities for the HPEM community. The conference’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the work and support from the SUMMA Foundation and the conference organising committee chaired by Dr Richard Hoad (QinetiQ).
