Welcome to ICSSC 2009

The Institution of Engineering and Technology is delighted to announce the 27th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC 2009). This AIAA initiative comes to the UK in its 43rd year and provides a platform for presenting recent developments in the exciting field of satellite based services at a crucial point in time.

As today’s satellite based services are asked to provide solutions for tomorrow’s challenges, ICSSC 2009 seeks answers to ‘The Role of Satellite in the Next Decade.’ The conference is open to all aspects of satellite based services including Satellite Communications, Satellite Navigation and earth observation applications and will incorporate a special colloquium on the ‘Integration of Satellite and Terrestrial Services.’

The conference will run over 4 days and provide an opportunity to showcase the results of work in Europe and elsewhere and will facilitate cross-fertilisation of knowledge across traditional boundaries.
