Important notice for authors of accepted papers
- All authors must complete an Author Registration form.
- IE08 papers will only appear in the proceedings if accompanied by an Author rate registration
- A student rate will not qualify to publish the paper in the proceedings
- All registrations by authors should be completed by the 16th May 2008, otherwise, papers will run the risk of not appearing in the conference proceedings (CD-Rom) and programme
- One registration entitles to present and publish in the proceedings a maximum of two papers. Authors with more than two accepted papers must pay the additional paper fee

Payments and Cancellations
- Payment for registration is required in advance of the conference in US Dollars and can be made by cheque, credit card (Access, American Express, Mastercard, Visa), money order or postal orders made payable to the Institution of Engineering and Technology and crossed.
- In the event of cancellation, and provided that written notice is received seven days prior to the event, a refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made. If no notice of cancellation is received, no refund can be made (not applicable to authors).
- Author Registration – in the event of cancellation after Friday, 16 May 2008, no refund can be made.

Insurance
The Organisers cannot be held responsible for accidents to conference registrants or for damage to or loss of their personal property howsoever caused, registrants should therefore make there own insurance arrangements.
Acknowledgements and Mailings
If you have not received an acknowledgement before the conference, please telephone us to make sure that we have registered your booking. With variable postal conditions, your bookings may be held up on its way to us or your acknowledgement delayed in a similar manner.
