Diamond Jubilee Scholarship and Engineering Horizons Bursary Award winners celebrating and talking about the difference the financial support will make to their engineering studies, and donors talking about how they feel about supporting these passionate young engineers.

Supporting the IET’s fundraising programmes allows you to access the brightest and most determined engineering students, as well as inspiring the younger generation of future engineers.


If you support our scholarships and bursaries you benefit from engaging with students and apprentices who show a commitment to engineering and a high level of aptitude






Since 2014, 195 scholarships will have been supported by corporate partners including BT, Siemens and BAe Systems has positively enhanced the students’ lives. One student used the funding to “buy books relating to my work, relevant software, a Raspberry Pi…"


Bechtel have helped to fund 10 First®LEGO®League teams over 2 seasons where the children explore STEM in a fun and exciting way.
