“Sometimes I wonder who gets the most out of scholarships – is it the student or is it the donor that gives them the chance – in my experience it is the donor.”
- Graham Tubbs founder of the IET Tubbs Family Blaenau Gwent Scholarships.
It’s only with the help of our supporters that we’re able to continue our vital educational work and promote engineering as a career choice. Whether large or small, every contribution makes a valuable difference. Your committed support will enable us to plan ahead and ensure our beneficiaries are receiving the best support possible.
Your contributions and support are invaluable to us. However we appreciate that financial support is not always possible. If you have any links to companies or ideas that you think may help in any other way, please do let us know.
Since 2015 your donations to our Take Your Place campaign has raised over £200,000 to support the charitable work of the IET. Faraday Challenge Days, First®LEGO®League competitions as well as scholarships and bursaries are just some examples Making a donation of £750 to the IET’s fundraising campaign will be recognised by a block on the foundation wall in IET London: Savoy Place – the historic home of IET members and a hub for engineering activity. If you decide to make a donation of £1,500 and in addition to a block on the Foundation Wall, we will thank you by engraving your name on the back of an auditorium seat in the Kelvin Lecture Theatre where it will be seen by members and visitors with a passion for engineering and technology.
In order to continue working to decrease the skills gap we need your help to spread the word of the work that we do and charitable campaigns we run.
Your contribution really can make a difference.
For our members in the United States, we are now 501(c)3 registered, so you can claim the tax back as can our UK members!
