Scope of category
Entries to the IET Information Technology Innovation Award category are welcomed from research, development or demonstration phases, where the innovation is clearly capable of commercial exploitation.
The Information Technology Award category welcomes nominations from (but is not limited to) projects such as:
- innovations which demonstrate contributions to hardware
- innovations which demonstrate contributions to the development of software
- innovations which demonstrate contributions to the development of firmware
- development of computers, peripherals or IT systems
Submissions can also be entered to show advancements in the use of computing technology, business efficiency or computer control systems.
The IET Information Technology Innovation Award is supported by the IET Information Technology Technical Professional Network.
