Body Shape Estimation Neural Network Learning Model for Medical Simulations

An artificial neural network has been implemented and trained with clinical data from 23,088 patients. The aim was to predict a patient’s body circumferences and ligament thickness from patient data. Twenty five training cycles were completed. Waist circumference was predicted within 3.92cm (96.9% accuracy), improving accuracy over previous equation models.

Service process is very different from manufacturing process; yet, existing practice shows that service business tends to borrow manufacturing production planning techniques to help solve service planning problems, which is constantly challenged for the accuracy of these techniques. We developed an Agent-Based Service Analytics (ABSA) toolkit to resolve this issue.

It can be applied to educate kids in language enhancement. It is built with camera, hearing kit and Raspberry Pi containing image processing algorithm.
GridKey Low Voltage Network Monitoring System

DNOs need to monitor the low voltage network. The challenge was to produce a low cost, accurate monitoring solution which can be safely fitted without interruption to supply. GridKey achieves this using a custom-designed current sensor coupled to an innovative metrology and communications unit providing data in near real time.
