How to enter 

 

Entry forms

 

To enter the Awards is easy and there is no fee. Submit your completed entry form online using the blue button on the right hand side of this page.

 

Just follow these steps:

  1. Read the category scopes carefully to ensure your innovation is entered into the correct category (ies)
  2. Complete the correct entry form. (Please note that there are specific forms for the Asset Management and Software in Design categories)
  3. Click on the ‘Submit entry form’ button
  4. Register as a new user on the online submission system
  5. Access the online submission system by logging in and submit your entry form following the on-screen instructions
  6. Please ensure that your product synopsis is succinct and in layman's terms as your title and synopsis may be used in promotional material
  7. Provide a high resolution photograph (min. 300dpi) of your innovation
  8. You can also provide supporting materials to enhance your entry
  9. Double check you have chosen the correct category from the drop down box
  10. Put the 22 November 2012 in your diary. You’ll need to attend the ceremony if you’re shortlisted!

 

FAQs

Can I enter for more than one category?

Yes, each innovation may be entered in to maximum of 3 categories. but we do require separate entry forms for each submission.

What is the deadline for entries?

Midnight, Monday 31 July 2012.

When will the shortlist be announced?

September 2012.

Can I make changes to my entry after I have submitted the form?

Yes, but only before the entry closing date.

What about confidentiality?

Your entry form and supporting materials will not be shared with anyone outside the IET Innovation Awards administration and judging process.

When is the ceremony?

Thursday 22 November 2012.
