20 May 2013 | IET London: Savoy Place, UK
The IET’s Intelligent Infrastructure in Rail seminar in London is to encourage the opportunity of all staff working in this area to network, listen and learn how to equip Britain with a safe, reliable and efficient railway fit for the future.
Many railways throughout the world have seen high rail-user growth rates in recent years and all face the same pressures to improve reliability and availability whilst reducing our overall costs to maintain, and therefore changing our maintenance practices are a key enabler for achieving this.
In particular, the event takes on a holistic approach to ensure you grasp the finer points of; monitoring and management of assets; its modern deployment for a predictive maintenance approach; data configuration and the use of management information to make tactical and strategic decisions.
