The Institution of Engineering and Technology are delighted to announce the 12th in the series of international conferences on Ionospheric Radio Systems and Techniques Conference (IRST 2012). The conference will be held at the Royal York Hotel and Events Centre in York from 15 May to 17, 2012.
Chaired by Prof Les Barclay from Barclay Associates Ltd with the support of the organising committee's bring together researchers, industrialists, policy makers and service providers within the area of Ionospheric Radio Systems and Techniques, the event aims to review recent innovations and developments within ionospheric science as well as related radio systems and networks and to report on the latest research findings.

Join us to hear two keynote address' from William Furman, Harris Corporation, USA who will be discussing Wideband HF: Rationale, strategy, and prospects on day one.
Followed by Cathryn Mitchell, University of Bath who will be focusing on UK Global navigation satellite systems and the ionosphere on day two.
