Certificates of attendance are available to delegates of the prestige lectures.
Attendees can request a certificate which they may use as evidence for their 'Continuing Professional Development' (CPD) records.
If you would like a certificate please email eventsa1@theiet.org in advance or ask at the registration desk when registering and you will be able to pick up the certificate after the lecture.

Attending an IET Lecture is your opportunity to see the future of engineering. IET Lectures are free to attend and are a key highlight of the IET’s events calendar.
Showcasing the latest ideas and technologies, the nine lectures cover a range of engineering disciplines, ranging from general interest to the more technical.
The President of the IET begins his year in office with an inaugural lecture every October. Many of the lectures were established in memory of engineers who achieved exemplary and ground breaking work in their day.
The speakers invited to give IET Lectures are of that caliber – innovative, forward-thinking and at the top of their game.
Tweeting during our IET Lectures
One of the latest additions to our lectures is the live tweeting that takes place. As a lecture attendee – it’s exciting to be a part of the online conversation during the evening. Also if you are not at the event, it’s really exciting to watch it unfold via Twitter! If the event is also being streamed live on IET.tv then Twitter makes an ideal companion to the streaming.
