Thank you to all those who attended the Mountbatten Memorial Lecture on “Eight Great Technologies and More” delivered by Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Member of Parliament for Havant and Minister for Universities and Science.

The Royal Institution’s famous Faraday Theatre was full on the evening of 9 October 2013.

During his lecture the Minister announced a £186 million package of investment in the eight great technologies of the future that will accelerate high-tech progress from the lab to the marketplace.

The Mountbatten Memorial Lecture will return next year in 2014. In the meantime, for those who didn't make it on the evening you can view it on IET.TV.
