Dr Philip J Fentem BSc, MSc, PhD, MIET, CEng
Philip post graduated in 1975 and joined Marconi Space and Defence Systems Ltd (MSDS), working in the Radar and Missile Systems Division as a Senior Radar Systems Engineer. He held various posts including Advanced Projects Group Manager, Chief Engineer and Tracking Radar Group Manager.
In 1990 Philip moved to Siemens Plessey Radar, or BAE Systems (Mission Systems) as it is to-day. Philip’s current role is as Sensors R&D Strategy Manager where he is responsible for the sensor research co-ordination and interface with the UK and European research community.
Philip is also the Industrial Chairman of the UK’s Radar Tower of Excellence; the EDA CAPTECH Industrial Group Leader in IAP-02 (RF Systems) and represents UK industry on the NATO RTO SET Panel.
