The IET’s Railway Annual Lecture and Dinner is one of the calendar’s key networking events for the railway sector.
Traditionally, delegates at this long running series of evening functions can expect a thought provoking, free to attend lecture by rail’s leading figures.
The lecture is then followed by a complimentary networking drinks reception and optional dinner (at an additional cost) is available to those attendees looking to extend their evening.
We are pleased to announce this year’s lecture will take place at the Barbican , Europe’s largest multi-arts and conference venue situated a short walk from Moorgate station.
RAIB Investigations and the risks we see - Carolyn Griffiths will illustrate the complexity of the RAIB’s work and highlight some key areas of risk seen from the perspective of our investigations and for industry focus.
We don’t want to give a way too much, but her talk will include case history, demonstrating what the RAIB do, what is found during an investigation e.g. key areas of risk.
After the lecture, delegates will leave with a good understanding of what is important in the railway industry.
