The 3rd International Conference on System Safety 2008 will take place at the NEC Birmingham. The NEC is located via a cover walk way from Birmingham International train station and a short journey by train to Birmingham city centre.

Conference Rooms

System Safety 2008 will be held in The Gallery at the NEC with the exhibition taking place in the Gallery Restaurant.
The Gallery area is accessible via the pedestrian skywalk from the train station and is located just above the Atrium.

Car Parking Facilities

Parking on the day will be on North 1 car Park via Gate 3.

Delegates need to go to Gate 3 and inform the traffic officer of the Conference they are attending and will then be directed to North 1 car park.

From this car park you can walk to Atrium entrance 2 where you will see the lift / stairs inside on the right taking them to the Gallery.

Directions to North 1 Car Park

• Travelling North on the M42, exit at Junction 6 and follow the signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for Gate 3.
• Travelling South on the M42, exit at Junction 6 and follow signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for Gate 3.
• Travelling South on the M6, exit at Junction 4 and follow signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for Gate 3.
• Travelling North on the M6, exit at Junction 4, keeping to the left and following signs to The NEC. Once on site, follow the signs for Gate 3.
