Lyn Dutton

Lyn Dutton is a specialist in Global Satellite Navigation Systems (GNSS), working for Thales Aerospace/ His history with GNSS goes back to 1984, when he worked in the GPS Joint Programme Office in Los Angeles, specialising in user equipment testing.

Back in the UK, Lyn specialised on military GPS system integrations and regional augmentation systems. More recently, he worked with the European Commission as Technical Coordinator for the requirements phase for the Galileo system. Lyn holds a MSc in Navigation systems Technology from Nottingham University.

He is a chartered electronic engineer, and a Fellow of both the Royal Institute of navigation and the Institution of Engineering and technology.
