David Jowsey

David Jowsey has worked for BT in various specialist satellite communications roles since graduating from University of York in 1990. He spent several years as a project manager for broadcast satellite systems both in the UK and mainland Europe.

He has been seconded to various BT Joint Ventures, including providing project engineering expertise to the StarHub JV in Singapore and in-country due diligence in Latin America on investing in Impsat. In 1999 he joined the Satellite Network Development team and became the UK delegate to the Intelsat Planning Advisory Committee and the Eutelsat Technical and Planning Committee until their privatisation in 2001.

He then took on a product development role, and is current responsible for developing and in life product management of BT’s VSAT portfolio.
