Dr Mohaned Juwad

Dr Mohaned Juwad joined Avanti Communications in 2009 as a Satellite Consultant. Mohaned has a background in Wireless Communications and Telecoms Security having worked as a Network Engineer in his early career with specialised expertise in network security and past experience in managing ESA funded projects for Next Generation Access DVB-RCS technology.

He has extensive experience in developing and testing satellite based routers for rural and remote regions.

Currently Mohaned is a Regulatory Manager for Market Access and Licensing in Avanti Communication working closely with National Regulators in Europe, MENA region and Africa to support market access for Avanti satellite fleet coverage.

He is also involved in business development building close relationships with various Government’s across the MENA region and Europe. Mohaned gained his PhD from Brunel University in 2007 specialising in wireless network security with a theses on secure routing protocol for ad hoc networks.
