Ifiok Otung

Ifiok Otung, dubbed in 2012 “Best Lecturer International” by Glamorgan University Students’ Union, is Professor of Satellite Communications at the University of Glamorgan in Wales. Ifiok holds a PhD in Satellite Communications from Surrey University and has taught and researched in the areas of mobile and satellite communication systems and radiowave propagation for 20 years.

He is author of over 110 publications, the best known being the 664-page textbook titled Communication Engineering Principles, ISBN 9780333775226, which is used in leading engineering departments around the world, and was described by one adopting lecturer in London as “the best book I’ve seen!”
