The IET Smart Metering Conference 2012
The fundamentals of implementation, communications and security
17-18 April 2012 | Strand Palace Hotel, London, UK
This two day conference will continue to question and advise on the ways in which the smart meter revolution can become a reality.
Government and industry have moved-on from the “why and if” to the “how”, in particular, “what’s the business model and how can it be implemented, kept secure and functioning?”
Presentations will provide ‘best practice’ principles, reveal lessons learnt and benefits to be gained from real business case studies of smart-meter roll-out/ implementation programmes from the UK and abroad. Furthermore sessions will uncover the most up-to-date thinking and technical aspects of interoperability, data handling, security and communications.
