Smart Grid 2011 extended across three days and included a dedicated focus day on Electric Vehicles. It featured a combination of technical sessions, discussion panels and keynote addresses to provide a useful platform for joined up thinking on smart grids, and ended with a focus day dedicated to the intersection of electric vehicles and smart grids. 

This comprehensive event addressed new opportunities around security, electric vehicles, standards, low carbon networks fund and case studies from Europe and Asia.

  • Enhanced grid infrastructure to support mass adoption of EVs while maintaining grid stability and reliability.

 

Of equal importance, and also examined in detail, is an intelligent network-based charging infrastructure for EVs as they are deployed globally.
