26 October 2012 | IET London: Savoy Place, UK
About the seminar
Transformation optics and metamaterials have been listed by Science magazine as amongst the top 10 science breakthroughs of the last decade.
Together with the European School of Antennas, the IET has drawn together a group of distinguished international speakers who will offer a profound insight into this exciting area.
The seminar will provide a unique forum to share the latest results of the transformation optics research, including new functionalities enabled by metamaterials and metasurfaces, transformation optics applied to electrostatics, applications of transformation optics to antenna design and other areas, including the invisibility cloak and the perfect lens.
The event brings together all interested in learning about the advances in the science and applications of transformation optics technologies – researchers, designers, developers and students.
