Sarah Cruddas to host the ceremony
Sarah is a space journalist and science reporter.
Sarah has reported from across the world including China, Tibet, North Korea, Africa, the Arctic, Australia, America and much of Europe. She is also a trained scientist with an academic background in astrophysics.
On television she is currently a regular face on Sky News commenting on space news. She also appears on ITV, Channel 5 and the BBC as a space expert and has appeared on Channel 4 News as a guest reporter for space coverage. She pops up on shows on National Geographic and The Discovery Channel as an expert and has fronted films for Horizons Business on BBC World and specialist space films for BBC News.
She writes about space for the BBC, New Scientist, The Sunday Times, The Royal Aeronautical Society, BBC News, CNN and many other outlets. On radio she can be heard across the BBC including GNS and Five Live as an expert and has presented space technology docs for BBC Radio 4.
Away from space she has covered all aspects of science, engineering and technology for national TV, radio and print. Other television credits include reporting on Stargazing Live for the BBC, working on The Sky at Night and fronting weather films for BBC Bang Goes the Theory and a cameo appearance on Derren Brown Apocalypse.
