Nicola Chiodetto will be attending the ECCE: IEEE Energy Conversion Conference and Exposition in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.  He will be away from 29 September until 3 October and you can read his report on his return.

Dr Ciara McGrath will be travelling to the 70th International Astronautical Congress 2019 in Washington D.C., USA. She will be away from 21 - 25 October.  Please read her report on her return.

Khadijat Olorunlambe travelled to Austria for the 25th Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics from 7 - 10 July 2019.  Please read her report here.

Dr Silvia Del Din travelled to Norway for the The Sixth International Conference on Ambulatory Monitoring of Physical Activity and Movement (ICAMPAM) from 26 - 28 June 2019.  Please read her report here.

Naomi Foster


Naomi Foster travelled to India for a research project/visit with the Oxford University Without Borders group. She was away from 7 - 14 April and you can read her report here.

Glen Gowers  

Glen Gowers flew to Reykjavik, Iceland on 14 April for a research project/visit to study the microbial life in glaciers.  He travelled in a team of three and returned on 20 May. You can read his report here.

Dr Ozak Esu travelled to Malawi on 10 May with a team of 22 Engineers from the UK.  The Women's Engineering Expedition returned on 27 May and you can read her report here.
